The Model Train

Graham MacDonald, a resident of the Waterloo Region, created the model in his basement over a span of 17 years. Throughout this time, Graham gave tours of the model to train enthusiasts and interested individuals. In 2018, Graham donated the train model to the Museum and spent the next two years dismantling it and creating/adjusting model pieces to fit it into the Museum’s E. Roy Smith Gallery. In total, Graham spent 19+ years working on this train model.
